Original Setup and Usage by Dennis (rocketpop on DFWMAS.org)
I started out with a Chauvet SF-4005, this will allow you to run 2-4 power heads. You can either run them 2 on and 2 off or have them cycle though all 4 one at a time. I'm only using two power heads so I have it set to 2 channel and set it on the slowest speed which will switch them ever two minutes. (See Time Mod below -editor)

I also cut the nozzles off my Maxi - Jet power head to make them shoot a wider stream of water out two different directions. This is because as the power is turned off and on the propeller can spin either way making the water come out either to left or to the right.

Timer Mod by Billy (brack on DFWMAS.org)
Ok, so 2 minutes (Timer mode) is too long, and chase is WAY too fast.

Here is your solution:
Open the unit (4 screws on back). Remove the timer board pictured (4 screws). Replace the 1uf capacitor with a 100uf capacitor (the new 100uf circled in pic). MAKE SURE TO KEEP the positive and negative of the capacitor in the right place (the board tells you which pole is +).

Reassemble.

Your chase mode is now about 10 seconds to 1 minute.

A few other notes. Make sure the capacitor is 25v or more. I used a 16v that I had on hand, which will work, but I didn't measure the voltage Embarassed. They used mostly 25v or better throughout the circuit. So it would be safest to follow their lead.

If you want about 5 seconds to 30 seconds, use a 50uf capacitor instead of the 100uf.

Note on the replacement capacitor

I ended up going with a 22uF capacitor.

That makes chase mode from about 2 secs to about 15 seconds. I'm going to leave it on around 7-8 seconds at a time in my new 92 corner.
